This week’s pull from Beckie’s Recipe stash is Magic Cookie Bars, from Carole, as noted on the card. Grab some basic ingredients and a 9×13 pan and you’ll get two dozen cookie bars prepped, baked and ready to serve in under an hour – just like magic.

🛒 Shopping List
- 9×13 Pyrex Baking Dish
- Margarine A trip to a store for this one is probably best. Use Country Crock if it’s available in your area. Butter works as well – salted is best!
- Graham Crackers
- Chopped Nuts I recommend walnuts but any nut will do
- Chocolate Chips
- Flaked Coconut
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Measuring Cups

While shopping online is super convenient I encourage everyone to support their local food suppliers, farms, markets and grocery stores as much as possible.

And before you go to Amazon ask an older person if they have any extra Pyrex pans you can have. Chances are they do and they last a lifetime and then some. Although fairly indestructible I managed to break my cherished vintage purple Pyrex pan. I was gifted the one linked above and I love it. I’m in no way affiliated with Pyrex and also recommend Anchor Hocking cookware as well!
